Explore Jungian perspectives at our new informal 2018-2019 Discussion Group! The group starts in September and runs until May 2019. The first six sessions (Sept–Feb) will be devoted to discussing the book Tracking the Wild Woman Archetype: A Guide to Becoming a Whole, Indivisible Woman by Stacey Shelby. 

Prior to the meeting each month, we will read the assigned chapter and come prepared to discuss it. Each participant is encouraged to bring one to two discussion points or questions from that chapter to the gathering. The first six sessions will be a lead up to our February lecture and workshop on the Wild Woman archetype with Stacey Shelby. 

During the last three sessions (March–May) we will discuss various topics on Jungian perspectives, through papers, articles, and videos etc. 

As a member of the discussion group, we ask that you bring questions, reflections, and ideas to each gathering and help choose material for future discussions for the last three sessions. The group will be facilitated by CJS Board Member Marg McKaig. 

Learning Objectives:

1) To enhance learning and understanding of Jung’s concepts

2) To facilitate the application of Jungian concepts to our individual journeys

3) To enable sharing of the discoveries and pitfalls of our individual journeys in an informal setting

Cost: $50 for members, $70 for non-members (all nine sessions)
